Scott, who is technically the Eagles’ third-string running back, has owned the Giants throughout his career, relatively speaking – for it’s against Big Blue where he has had the majority of his career success.

That continued Sunday, when Scott tallied 154 all-purpose yards and scored his 16th career touchdown (and ninth against the Giants) in the Birds’ 48-22 win:

Most of Scott’s offensive production came in garbage time, as five of his seven touches, 34 of his 37 scrimmage yards, and the TD came in a fourth quarter the Eagles entered up 34-14 – but it’s usually the team way ahead that has trouble moving the ball…unless it’s the Eagles and Scott.

Earlier in the game, though, Scott gave the Birds a spark when, after the Giants scored an easy TD after the Arryn Siposs blocked punt/injury, the diminutive speedster rumbled 66 yards on the ensuing kick return to set the Birds up inside the Giants’ 35 and set up a field goal.

He had three returns for 117 yards on the day to go with the offensive effort, and he now has nine of his 16 career TDs and 582 of his 1663 career yards from scrimmage (that’s 35 percent) against Big Blue.

Take us out, Ike…
