The Philadelphia Eagles selected Toledo cornerback Quinyon Mitchell with the No. 22 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft on Thursday night.
Mitchell is the first Toledo player to get drafted in the first-round in 30 years.
Mitchell was the first cornerback drafted. Some had Mitchell ranked as the best corner in the draft, while many had Alabama cornerback Terrion Arnold ranked ahead of Mitchell.
Mitchell, 6'0", 196-pounds, had six interceptions in four seasons at Toledo.
