Jon Johnson fed up with 76ers offseason, Daryl Morey trolling fans

Jon Johnson filled in for Ike Reese on Friday, and he came out firing on the 76ers to open the show with Jon Marks.

“I hate the Sixers’ offseason, yet I can’t look away,” Johnson said. “I have a team that I’ve gotten to a point where I almost hate…the general manager is trying to lose even the most loyal zealots…so many are still praising him, yet all he is doing is bringing in center after center. Can something happen please?

“I am so fatigued with the Sixers, as I’m sure everyone is. But I continue to hold out the little bit, minute piece of hope, that a last-ditch, one more offseason move, something will go right, but then I see the general manager trolling fans. This is the tip of the iceberg.”

Johnson wants something impactful to happen with the Sixers, and if it is trading Tyrese Maxey to get Damian Lillard, he would do it in a heartbeat, noting that by the time Maxey reaches his full potential, Joel Embiid's prime will be over, and the time to strike is now.

So far, the Sixers haven't done much, and Johnson isn't happy about it.
