Just call them sudden impact!
Ndamukong Suh and Linval Joseph were both signed by the Eagles this week, and no one was sure how much they would play. The answer ended up being a lot, and they both recorded their first sack as Eagles in the third quarter…together.
The Birds turned the ball over on downs right around midfield on their second drive of the second half, and one play later, Suh and Joseph got together to take down Matt Ryan:
Suh, the No. 2 overall pick in 2010, is in the NFL’s all-time Top 100 in terms of sacks, entering Sunday with 70.5. Joseph, a second-rounder that same year, has always been more of a run-stuffer, notching just 25 sacks over his first 11 seasons, but the two are now etched together in history with their new team.
