Move over Robyn, Calum Scott, and Tiesto – the Grammy for Best Celebration Song goes to the Philadelphia Phillies, who are Dancing (On Their Own) into the World Series!
"Dancing On My Own," originally crooned by Robyn a decade ago and notably covered acoustically by Scott and remixed by Tiesto, became the Phils' anthem earlier this year because, as clubhouse DJ Garrett Stubbs told MLB.com, "it's an absolute banger."
And everyone, in unison, was caught covering that banger after the Phils beat the Padres Sunday evening to advance to their first World Series since 2009.
Matt Vasgersian joked "Philadelphia Men's Choir, eat your heart out!" while chatting with Zack Wheeler moments later, and while we don't necessarily think the Recording Academy will bestow an award on the Phillies, well…we've got HIGH HOPES.
