Braydon Smith, an 11 year old in North Carolina was at home talking to his mother on the phone when 19 year old Jataveon Dashawn Hall snuck into the home through an open window. Braydon says the interduer pointed a pellet gun (that belonged to Braydon's family) at him. Braydon said he knew the pellet gun was unloaded and followed the intruders directions to get into the closet. When the interduer went into another room to take Braydon's phone and make sure he hadn't called 911, Braydon grabbed a machete off the wall and struck him in the head!
The interuder, Hall, was arrested shortly after fleeing the hospital where he was seeking treatment for his head wound. I don't know if I would be as cool and collected as this kid if I was facing a similar situation.
