If you're planning on seeing some epic fall foliage along the Blue Ridge Parkway this fall, this is the week to do it!

According to the Virginia Department of Forestry, THIS week is peak week! According to this week's foliage report, most of the trees at higher elevations have lost most of their leaves but anything below 3,000 feet is reportedly "stunning".

The department originally thought that this season's foliage was going to be dull due to droughts this year but it's actually turing out to be "brilliant".

VA Department of Forestry also has some suggested driving routes to help you make the most of your trip and see maximum fall leaves! Check them out HERE.

Maybe I'll head to Bold Rock Cider and check out some beautiful leaves while I'm at it this weekend!
