I don't know about you, but I love Belmont Pizza! I used to live around the corner from them and let me tell ya, it was the BEST for a hangover.
Anyway, the owners of Belmont Pizza have announced that they are opening another restaurant in Shockoe Bottom! It's called Carmela's and is named after owner Melinda Guevara's grandmother (how cute!)
Carmela's will have a varitey to Siciclian classics but their main speciality will be pizza!
The new restaurant will be in the old Halligan Bar and Grill at 3 N. 17th St. in Shockoe Bottom.
