Taco Bell has announced that they are testing some Crispy Tortilla Chicken Tenders in order to keep up with fast food chains like Popeyes and Chick-fil-a.
According to Business Insider, Taco Bell will start testing the chicken tenders this month in Houston, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio before launching them nationwide sometime in 2020.
Reportedly, Taco Bell tested more than 100 variations of the chicken tender recipe before deciding on a final flavor. The chicken tenders will be marinated in a jalapeno buttermilk mixture and then coated with crushed tortilla chips. They will also be served with a brand new sauce.
