Imagine having a job that you didn't have to go to but still you still got paid. That's what was happening to a guy in Gartanzaro, Italy. He's now under investigation for skipping work but still getting his regular paycheck...FOR FIFTEEN YEARS!
The unnamed man was working in a government hospitial and back in 2005 he just quit going to work. Authorities think that he may have threatened his boss to keep her from filing a reort against him. She never did. The boss finally retired and the person that replaced her was notcing a guy on th payroll that wasn't showing up for work for over a decade.
Over the course of 15 years the guy wound up getting around $650,000. Now the police are looking at him for fraud and extortion.
