The nominees for Best Country Album at the 2020 GRAMMY Awards are a unique collection of some of our favorite artists of all time. Spanning generations, these five Country stars all approach the game with a style all their own, some well-worn and time-tested and some forging new paths towards what it means to be Country.
Each of these albums stand out because they are a special experience, a complete trip to somewhere else guided by solid songwriting and some of the most moving music of the year.

Reba McEntire - Stronger Than The Truth
Remarkably, Strong Than The Truth is Reba’s thirty-third studio album, and maybe her most Country yet. McEntire made an effort to get to some real storytelling that touched her heart for her latest effort, and it shines through every song.
Pistol Annies - Interstate Gospel
Speaking of the grand traditions of Country music, Interstate Gospel is an album seeped in them. The supergroup of Miranda Lambert, Ashley Monroe, and Angaleena Presley bring the blues, but also the power of three amazing voices blended to perfection.
Thomas Rhett - Center Point Road
Rooted in his own personal history but expanded through his expansive musical tastes, Center Point Road from Thomas Rhett arrives with a fresh take on classic Country, bending into a new era with his heart at the core of it all.
Tanya Tucker - While I’m Livin’
Tanya Tucker has earned every inch of that unmistakable voice, returning last year for her first album in a decade. Guided by the helpful hands of Brandi Carlile and Shooter Jennings, Tucker emerges as the knowing traveler who has seen it all and lived to sing about it.
