Three-time 2021 ACM nominee Ingrid Andress took some time to catch up with Audacy's Kelly Ford via the ACM’s virtual radio row ahead of show this Sunday. Ingrid shared all the deets from who she’ll be wearing, how she feels about her nominations as well as who she’d jump on a conference call with if she won.

In addition to a nomination for New Female Artist of the Year, Andress also received a double nomination for her deeply personal single, “More Hearts Than Mine,” which resonated with fans everywhere and shot to #1 as her debut radio single. Her double nomination recognizes her as both the artist and song’s producer.
“It means a lot just because it is such a personal song about my family,” Andress told Ford. “There’s something really beautiful to know that you started with something so specific to you, that now is everybody’s story. Everybody can hear themselves in it. So the fact that that’s the song that is nominated is just, it’s just a win for me already.”
While a nomination may be prize enough for the Colorado native who is set to present an award on Sunday, Ford told her to envision winning, followed by asking her who her first call would to share the news.
“I usually do like a group call with all my family members,” said Andress. “There are six of them, so it would take me an hour to call all of them individually so I just have like a group call, conference call with my family.”
When asked if she’d be dressing up for the occasion Ingrid responded, “Of course! That’s the best part.” The 29 year-old known for her love of pantsuits and plunging necklines continued on to say, “I’m very excited because it’s not a pantsuit. It’s going to be different, but still not a dress. There’s lots of fringe involved.”
Be sure to tune in Sunday night for the 56th Annual ACM Awards, airing at 8PM on CBS.
