"'COUNTRY! COUNTRY!' is clearly my return to Country music, after touring and putting out a Rock record last year," HARDY shares. "Once I realized that I had like 4 or 5 songs that I had cut for this record with the word Country in it, I thought it would be, I guess you could say cheeky to just write a song called 'Country Country' and let that one be the cherry on top."
"I brought that to Ashley Gorley and I all I said was, 'how can we write the title, 'Country Country'? He was like, 'what if you were kind of like a politician kind of vibe and if it was up to me I would do this and do that and I'd make the whole country, country?' I was like, 'perfect.' The rest is history."
