As teams across the NFL are gearing up for the start of training camp, many vets throughout the league will make sure they arrive to their teams training facilities in style.
One of the players whose appearance drew a lot of stir on social media was Aaron Rodgers. The reigning NFL MVP was donned in a white tank top and jeans with long, slicked-back hair, replicating the iconic Nicholas Cage character from the 1997 movie Con Air.
Naturally Rodgers new outfit caused a lot of interesting and funny reactions on Twitter.
Although it was quite obvious what he was doing, Rodgers confirmed that he was indeed going for the Con-Air look which he explained with a quote from the movie.
"Put...the...bunny...back in the box. #greatestactorofalltime" Rodgers said in a post on his Instagram page.
"What do you think I'm gonna do? I'm gonna save the f-----g' day!
It seems like Rodgers is ready to be that hero and save the day in his 18th season with the Packers. Having signed a new contract and coming off back-to-back MVPs, the expectation in Green Bay seems to be Super Bowl or bust.
Rodgers will be tasked with winning the NFC without star wideout Davante Adams who was traded to the Raiders.
According to USA Today's 2022 record predictions, the Packers will finish at 11-6.
