Before this year’s wheelchair tennis players took to the courts at the U.S. Open, they showcased their moves at Mount Sinai Hospital.

This was the 11th year for the U.S. Open Wheelchair Competition, and experts say these athletes are a real source of hope for patients also in wheelchairs.

Wheelchair tennis is played the same as able-bodied tennis, however, wheelchair players are allowed two bounces of the ball.
