After spending 106 days in the hospital battling COVID, Hafeez Yehman is going home!
The 43-year-old was discharged from Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park after four grueling months.
Family, friends, and hospital staff all gathered around to cheer for him as he walked out of the hospital. LIJ has treated the most COVID patients of any New York hospital, per Fox 5. To date, Yehman's stay was the longest of all the patients.
The publication reports he was intubated three different times.
Despite being discharged from the hospital, he will continue his recovery from the virus in rehab.
