Watch the eye-popping performance

Queen + Adam Lambert absolutely tore down the American Airlines Center in Dallas this week. While The Rhapsody Tour may include a lot of highlights for Queen fans young and old, we’ll all probably be hard-pressed to find something more unique than what happened on Monday. (Fans of certain football teams may not enjoy it quiet as much, however)

The band launched into “Fat Bottomed Girls,” and partway through the performance, they were joined on-stage by none other than the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders - to the surprise of everyone in attendance!

Queen played a marathon set in Dallas and elsewhere on their tour. Other songs performed included “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “Under Pressure,” and “Somebody to Love.” The band has been doing “We Will Rock You” and “We Are the Champions” during the encore.

Brian May and Roger Taylor, with a huge assist from Lambert and his golden pipes and stage presence, have been experiencing yet another surge in popularity thanks to the Bohemian Rhapsody film starring Rami Malek. But it wasn’t the first time the British rockers were introduced to a new generation. The use of “Bohemian Rhapsody” in 1992’s Wayne’s World was another high water mark for the band.
