WATCH: Penn State Fan with Down Syndrome Scores Special Touchdown During Spring Game

Brooke Fisher had a touchdown day she’ll never forget.

The young woman with Down syndrome, who sometimes sings the national anthem at games, is a true Penn State football fan and when she got called by coach James Franklin to play during the first quarter of a spring game, she quickly jumped at the opportunity.

Spring games in the NCAA provide a chance for coaches and teams to show off their hard work during spring practice, and also give a platform for other programs to allow fans to live out their dreams.

After running 22 yards down the line, Fisher scored an incredible touchdown -- and the smile on her face, as well as everyones on the team, says it all! The young athlete even spiked the ball at the end with the team’s mascot by her side!
