In this edition of Top-10 Stats of the Week, Karl-Anthony Towns channels his inner Wilt Chamberlain with the Timberwolves, the Lakers play a first quarter worth forgetting, Steph Curry celebrates his birthday in style, and the NFL's greatest quarterback of all-time returns after 40 days in... retirement?

60 -- Karl-Anthony Towns scored 60 points in the T-Wolves' road win over the Spurs on Monday night. It's a league high for the season, and a Timberwolves franchise record. Towns recorded 32 points in the third quarter alone -- that's the fifth most points in a quarter in league history. He hadn't scored 32 points for an entire game in his last four contests.

47 -- At the new age of 34, Warriors superstar Steph Curry dropped 47 points at home against the Wizards on Monday. That happens to be the fourth most points scored for a player on their birthday in league history.

24, 2-8 -- In the first 1,624 games of LeBron James' legendary career, his teams have trailed by 24 points in the first quarter three times. It's happened twice in his last two games. The Lakers are 2-8 since the All-Star break when LeBron doesn't go for at least 50 points on over 60-percent shooting.

48 -- The Lakers allowed a whopping 48 points to the Suns during their first quarter on Sunday. It's actually the most first quarter points they've allowed during the shot-clock era (since 1954-55).

14 -- The four No. 1 seeds in this year's March Madness are Gonzaga, Baylor, Kansas, and Arizona. Over the last three months, Gonzaga has lost just once. The other three teams have a combined 14 losses over the same time frame.

2-2 -- Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski didn't have a strong finish to the regular season. The Blue Devils started the year with 26 wins in 30 games, but are 2-2 since. Both losses came against unranked opponents, too.

1 -- Since 2016, Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins has a cash value of $158.9 million, the highest of any player in the NFL. But in 10 seasons, his record is exactly at the .500 mark, and he's won just a single playoff game.

45, 7/4 -- Welcome back, Tom Brady. His next game with the Bucs will make him the only quarterback age 45 years or older to start in NFL history. Brady's won seven Super Bowls. That's nearly double the amount of Super Bowl wins (four) that every other starting quarterback in the league has, combined.
