The 31-year-old surprised fans by dropping a refreshed version of her song, "Wildest Dreams" from her 1989 album today. Taylor claimed her “Swifties” fan-base prompted the release after they got the song trending on TikTok.
"Saw you guys got ‘Wildest Dreams’ trending on TikTok,” Taylor wrote on Twitter. “Thought you should have my version.”
Swift fans have a lot more to look forward to as they inch closer to the highly-anticipated release of Red (Taylor’s Version), available beginning November 19.
The album, a re-make of Taylor’s Red album originally released in 2012, is the second re-release of six that Taylor has planned in an effort to regain artistic control of her music.
The first re-record, Fearless (Taylor’s Version) was released in April and included 27 tracks, with six of them being brand-new songs she released from her song vault.
