Rapper Tory Lanez, who has been accused of shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the foot by the rapper herself, hasn’t had much to say since the alleged incident went down. So far there’s been a lot of she said and not really any he said. However, Lanez decided it was time to break his silence, and the first time we hear from Tory in months came on Thursday afternoon, the Canadian rapper tweeted, “To my fans ... I’m sorry for my silence .... but respectfully .. I got time today ...... 9 PM PST.”

On Thursday night, as promised, but not as expected, Tory actually said quite a lot, dropping a surprise 17 track album, Daystar. On just about every song, Tory addresses the matter with Megan and his subsequent fallout, and what he seems to perceive as betrayal from just about everyone. He reveals apparent details about the night he was arrested, and makes time to name-drop Kylie Jenner, who apparently had been hanging out with the two of them earlier that evening.

Throughout the album, Lanez challenges and questions Megan’s account, starting with the very first track, “Money Over Fallouts,” which opens with a sequence of media recordings hating on the alleged shooter. Tory raps, "people tryna frame me for a shootin’” and “Girl, you had the nerve to write that statement on that affidavit/Knowin' I ain't do it but I'm comin' at my truest/Tryna keep this s*** two hunnid with you, shorty, I can't prove it."

Oh, he didn’t stop there, there’s also this gem, “How the f*** you get shot in your foot, don’t hit no bones or tendons?”

On the track “Queen and Slim,” Tory raps: “I wasn’t the wrong one that night, you was just too drunk to even see it… I’ve never even had an argument with ya.” On “In the Air ,” he raps “I’ve never hit no woman”, and says the situation is a test from God: “He’s using Megan as a vessel and a test of faith.”

Okay, hold up, didn’t Lanez actually text Megan apologizing for what went down?

Regardless of Megan’s claims or receipts, Lanez is sticking to his version of story, and kept the denials rolling. On "Sorry But I Had To" he says, "since the event, you never called me but you can't deny me/If you got shot from behind, how can you identify me?” And on the song "Friends Become Strangers,” Lanez accuses Megan of lying about the incident, or rather that she has exaggerated it, saying, ”You yourself don't even know the full story/Why you lettin' people escalate it?/And I know you got them people in yo' ear."

Initially Megan blamed her injury on broken glass because she was scared of the police following high-profile incidents of brutality against black people. “The police come, I’m scared. Police was literally killing black people for no reason. The police is really aggressive. You think I’m about to tell the police that us black people got a gun in the car?” However, just three days later made a statement saying: “I suffered gunshot wounds as a result of a crime that was committed against me and done with the intention to physically harm me,” pointing the finger directly at Lanez.

Lanez isn’t completely denying complete blame, implying he did do something that night but keeps it vague, saying, "We both know what happened that night and what I did.”

We’ve heard what Megan has to say, now take a listen to Tory’s take on Daystar above. They say there’s two sides to every story, which do you believe?
