Joining V-103 in Atlanta's The Big Tigger Morning Show while in town for Mary J. Blige’s Strength of Woman Festival and Summit, Ciara discussed women empowerment, Mother's Day, and how she's always been that girl.

Gearing up for a panel that has now since passed, Ciara made sure to get the “ladies” excited to “have a good time” and “talk about business, entrepreneurship.” Noting she’ll be there representing her OAM skincare line. “OAM stands for on a mission — I’m a woman of ambition on a mission — I’ve been that girl, that’s always been my mindset,” she said. Adding that the panel should be a lot of fun, “cause we’re gonna be talking about all that good stuff.”
When it comes to nay-sayers or doubters questioning her drive of putting in the effort and energy into being a music superstar as a result of “Ciara’s Prayer,” CiCi is truly not concerned. “I’ll never respond to that stuff, cause it really doesn’t matter.”
Ciara doesn’t need any validation when it comes to what she puts in and how hard she works. She knows it and that’s what actually does matter. “I’m out here grinding, I’ve been grinding since day one.” Sharing that “these past five years has been the chapter of ownership for me, I now run my own label… I have my skincare line… I have my rum, Ten To One Rum, the most awarded rum.” Not wanting to “continue to go on about all that,” Ciara point was “that the drive is turned up.”
Elsewhere in the conversation Ciara chatted about on her new single "Da Girls" and how she's speaking life into women. Also up for discussion — her Vanity Fair outfit, and more about her OAM skincare line. Listen to it all and more in Part One above and Part Two below.
