Stopping by local Atlanta eatery Slutty Vegan to talk all things voting with V-103 and Audacy's Jay Tek, Common discussed the importance of mid-term elections and his support for Stacey Abrams.

“I’m here to encourage people to go vote first and foremost, and to encourage people to vote for Stacey Abrams,” Common implored.
"It’s time that Atlanta and Georgia, like really have leadership that is for the people. Atlanta has has some great Mayors, but to have a Governor that’s really down for the people… and is really trying to make sure that Black businesses get opportunities, that Black people get economics in our neighborhoods, and not separate a state, but bring people together in a sincere way.”
Having spent time around Abrams, Common stands by her, noting “you can tell how a politician will be in office by who they were before they were in office, and she’s been that person fighting for the homeless, fighting for people to get economics, and making sure that women have rights.”
"If I speak for somebody, it gotta be someone that I truly believe in, and Stacey Abrams is a once in a lifetime candidate and Governor, and we have a chance to make history with her.”
