This past weekend, Beyoncé officially wrapped up her Cowboy Carter Tour in Vegas. To say that the tour was a smashing success is an understatement... 32 shows, 1.5 million attendees across England, France, and the United States.

It’s been weeks since I attended the Cowboy Carter Tour stop in Houston, but I’m still exhilarated to say that I was one of the 1.5 million people who got to witness this once-in-a-lifetime pop culture experience!
I have to admit that after seeing news of the Destiny’s Child reunion during the Las Vegas tour stop, I had a major case of FOMO. I had hoped that the girls would reunite during the Houston show. Afterall, it is where the group got their start. But even without the reunion, the Houston show was amazing. From the singing, to the dancing, to the fashion, Cowboy Carter was uniquely western and uniquely Beyoncé all at once.
I love how the entire audience (including yours truly) was all in with the western attire. People and style-watching was just as big a part of the experience as Beyoncé herself. I loved how Blue Ivy found her performance voice through dance on the tour. I love how Rumi stole the show when she came out onstage. And Beyoncé is one of those talents that comes along once in a lifetime and if you’re able to witness one or more of her tours, it’s something you’ll never forget. My journalist friend, Dana Littlefield, described Beyoncé’s talents perfectly, “In the year of our Lord 2025, NOBODY does it better. It’s not even close.”
BTW, the night I went to the show, was the night the car malfunctioned and tilted. I’ve dubbed the now-infamous snafu, “Tiltgate.” I even posted a video to my social media, summing up my opinion of “Tiltgate.”
As someone who’s watched Beyoncé grow from the young, talented girl in Houston, to the global icon she is today, I’m so proud to see her cement her place amongst the greatest performers of all time. And I’m so happy to have been in the audience to experience the Cowboy Carter Tour. Here’s a video of some of the highlights from the show from my vantage point.
The Cowboy Carter Tour has officially claimed the title of the highest-grossing Country tour ever, according to Billboard. She's also the first woman and first American act to have two separate tours each gross over $400 million. And if that wasn't enough, she absolutely crushed over 30 venue records across North America, the UK, and Europe.
