
Set to take the stage on Hip Hop’s 50th birthday, Friday, August 11, in Hip Hop’s birthplace, The Bronx, NY, some of the biggest names of the genre will gather for a legendary, celebratory concert - Hip Hop 50 Live at NYC's Yankee Stadium.

Fans can expect a special, “bottom of the ninth…the walk-off’ performance from pioneers Run DMC, plus headlining sets from Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg, and Ice Cube. Also scheduled is a Queens of hip hop set featuring Eve, Lil Kim, Remy Ma, Trina and more... plus performances by T.I., Fat Joe, Common, A$AP Ferg, EPMD, Wu-Tang Clan’s Ghostface Killah, Lupe Fiasco, Slick Rick and more to be announced. Additionally, the man himself DJ Kool Herc will be joined by Cindy Campbell, Grandmaster Caz, Kurtis Blow, Melle Mell, Roxanne Shante, Scorpio, Sugar Hill Gang, and more for a “Pillar of Hip-Hop” set.

Hip Hop 50 Live at Yankee Stadium tickets will start as low as $50 with early bird access to tickets granted to Renaissance Youth Center, New Settlement, SCAN-Harbor, Madison Square Boys & Girls Club, Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club, North East Bronx YMCA, Castle Hill YMCA, New York Urban League, Hispanic Federation, Bronx Chamber of Commerce, Bronx Community Foundation, and CORO New York Leadership Center.
