Summer Walker and London on da Track have welcomed their baby girl!
The celebratory news broke when Walker indirectly let the world know by responding to an already created fanpage dedicated to their new bundle of joy. The account, which is under the name @1princessbubblegum, shared its first, post a week ago, a “loading… please wait” graphic. Followed by a second graphic that said, “Loading.. 100%,” seemingly announcing the child had been born.
Responding with a quickness, Summer took to to IG to call out the account and since deleted posts, setting some guidelines about how things regarding her and London’s first child were going to go.
“So i guess a fan made this page, but let’s be very clear, there will be no pictures of my child on the internet,” Summer wrote. Adding, “So let’s all forget I was pregnant and move on with our lives so I can enjoy my little angel in peace.”
Also taking to social with a few words of his own, daddy London penned a sweet letter to his babygirl and “best birthday gift,” in which he thanked both Summer and Erykah Badu, who served as the family's personal doula for the birth. Exsqueeze me, um what?! That's kind of everything - (sidebar: show pitch, Erykah the Doula, let that simmer, in the meantime back to London’s dotting daddy tribute).
Alongside the usual go-to newborn announcement pic of his babygirl's tiny fingers next to his, London’s caption read, “From the first time I held you in my arms I knew you were special I’m overwhelmed wit Joy I Can’t even 🧢 this Allah’s best birthday gift to me... priceless moments u can value forever ♾ @erykahbadu gratitude beloved for the genuineness and love. We grateful for yu being a part of our lil Princess bubblegum journey. @summerwalker this gift I can cherish 4L 🐍💚🐍”
While it’s unclear exactly when their princess made her debut, Summer’s post baby bod sure isn’t helping in pinpointing a date. Also up in the air, is whether the adorably sweet moniker is their babygirl’s actual name or just a nickname, regardless, we’re here for it either way.
So welcome to the world Princess Bubblegum, with a name like that and such loving parents, you’re world is sure to be a candyland dream.
