
Back with another installment of Hip-Hop Made to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the birth of Hip-Hop, we linked up with Tha Dogg Pound where they shared some of the artists and moments that introduced them to Hip-Hop.

Reminiscing on their introduction to Hip-Hop, Kurupt and Daz Dillinger of Tha Dogg Pound highlighted many of the artists that inspired them -- like DJ Kool Herc, Spice One, Melle Mel, Sugarhill Gang, and more -- considering many of them to be the "forefathers."

One moment they remember vividly from the start of their career was celebrating Tupac's release. "You said, 'Tupac's out,' I said 'yeah right,'" Kurupt said to Daz, continuing on to say that he pulled up in his Lexus and it was the first time he heard Tupac's "Ambitionz Az A Ridah."
