Two of the three soldiers injured in a parachute training accident remain in critical condition, while one is in serious condition, according to the U.S. Army Golden Knights.

“Thank you all for the outpouring of support and concern,” the Army’s elite parachute demonstration team said in a Facebook post on Wednesday.

“Thank you for respecting the privacy of our team as we focus on caring for our soldiers and their family members.”

Three members of the team were hospitalized shortly after 4:00 a.m. on Tuesday in what officials are describing as a “routine night training operation” near Homestead Air Reserve Base, Florida. The incident remains under investigation.

The Golden Knights parachute demonstration team is based at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, but they spend their winters in Florida training. Soldiers assigned to the group are parachute experts, often seen skydiving at high-profile events around the country.
