Over the weekend, Snapchat photos that appear to have been taken by a future airman in the third week of Basic Training surfaced on an Air Force forum Facebook page — and veterans from all branches had quite a few questions (and other comments) about it.
From hair regulations to key checks to day room furniture privileges to phone usage, a lot has changed at Air Force Basic Training — except none of these things have actually changed according to the 1,300 comments on the Facebook post.
A lot of Facebook users had some questions.
Some commenters offered rather helpful information about the reality of phone regulations at Basic.
And, of course, there was no shortage of "Back when I..." type posts.
One thing is relatively certain — this future airman may not have an Air Force career in her future after all.
