Transition issues? Try performance art

Some veterans in Northern Virginia and the Washington, D. C. area are using comedy, storytelling and improv to push aside insecurities about transitioning back to civilian life.  

"The arts and the power of narrative really become force multipliers for these veterans," says Sam Pressler, founder of the non-profit Armed Services Arts Partnership, which provides free performance workshops. 

Program graduates, he says, use newly-found skills "to advocate for the causes they believe in, beyond just telling their stories."  Here's what Sam shared with CBS Eye on Veterans:
