On the 16th anniversary of the start of the Iraq War freshman Congresswoman Rep. Ilhan Omar tweeted, among other thoughts on the war, that America "illegally invaded" Iraq.
We asked Army combat veteran, author and activist Boone Cutler to share his thoughts on Rep. Omar's tweets.
"Well, first of all, she's factually incorrect ... we knew they had chemical weapons because we f***ing sold 'em to them during the Iran/ Iraq War. I know they had chemical weapons, because if you read my book, 'Call Sign Voodoo' there's actually an Army memo in there stating we found chemical weapons and that they were to be destroyed."
