USAA, the San Francisco 49ers and NFL player Ben Garland haven’t let the coronavirus pandemic slow down their efforts to support the military.
As part of their continued efforts to serve and support local troops and their families, USAA and the 49ers recently teamed up with the USO to deliver care packages to service members on the front lines of the fight against COVID-19 in Northern California.

The care packages consisted of snacks, games, recreation items and toiletries/hygiene essentials.

Garland, an Air Force Academy graduate and a captain in the Colorado Air National Guard, helped tell the story of the care package delivery in a Twitter post.
“It is essential we support our troops,” he said.
Additional packages will soon be delivered to the Bridgeport Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center.
