The morning of 4th of July, Fox Business Network host Lou Dobbs retweeted an article by Daily Mail regarding military chiefs hesitating to participate in President Donald Trump's 4th of July festivities with the caption: "No wonder these Snowflake Generals haven't won a war since 1991."
Originally reported by CNN, the Daily Mail article reports that many of members of the military's top brass were hesitant about accepting Trump's invitation to the "Salute to America" event at the National Mall. According to Dobbs, these generals are "snowflakes."
Twitter responses to Dobb's tweet are abundant.
I remember seeing Lou Dobbs in Afghanistan, a 240B under each arms, cigar clenched in his teeth...wait, nope, that's just his wet dream. He's just been a chickenhawk conspiracy theorist the entirety of his dad career. https://t.co/g8jRunDq46

Dobbs did not serve in any branch of the military. He hasn't tweeted regarding any of the responses nor has Fox Business Network made a statement.
