Navy Federal Credit Union customers opened up their mobile apps to an unhappy sight earlier this week to find out they couldn’t access their accounts.
Wednesday, the company released a tweet saying they’re “working on this to get everything up and running asap.”
Both the mobile apps and website were unaccessible to Navy Federal clients and instead, they received an error message.
This isn’t the first time the credit union faced a technological issue that affected its customers. In December, Navy Federal customers discovered inaccurate account balances, which the company attributed to a delay in reporting.
After restoring the online banking service Thursday, a spokesperson for Navy Federal said, " All our systems are now up and running. We apologize for the frustration this has caused."
