What it's like to get rocked by a hurricane

As Hurricane Florence hits the Carolina coast, tens of thousands of people have evacuated the area. But for those who choose to stay, it could be a case of life or death.

Just over a year ago, the Texas coast was slammed by Hurricane Harvey, leaving behind a wake of record setting flooding and devastation.  Hit particularly hard, were the towns near Corpus Christi, Texas.

VetStory podcast host Phil Briggs, learned that his old Navy buddy, Rodney Weedon, not only lived in Corpus Christi, but had hunkered down and rode the storm out. 

Insane? Maybe.  But Weedon's story is fascinating.
