President Donald Trump plans to be in France this June at celebrations marking the 75th anniversary of D-Day.

He unveiled his travel plans during a meeting in the Oval Office Thursday with a group of World War II veterans.

“I’ll be there,” he told the group.

One of the veterans also expressed a desire to fly on Air Force One.

“We’ll do that,” Trump said. “We’ll work that out.  Is that okay?  We’ll work that out.  You’ll like Air Force One.”

D-Day launched on June 6, 1944, and marked the beginning of the end of World War II in Europe. More than 9,000 Allied soldiers were killed or wounded in the operation.
