Did you earn a Purple Heart while serving in Vietnam? Are you interested in seeing the country again?
If you answered yes to both those questions, you’re eligible to enter the Veterans of Foreign Wars annual Return to Vietnam trip drawing.
The trip includes visits to Hanoi, Saigon, the Demilitarized Zone, Khe Sanh, Da Nang, Hoi An, Marble Mountain, Cu Chi, and Tay Ninh. Airfare, accommodations, and meals are included.
“The trip includes mainly Vietnamese meals but also will include American food on occasion, long bus rides, excessive walking, and there are no handicap facilities anywhere on the trip,” the release states. “Everyone must participate in every inland trip and activity.”
Entries must be received prior to the drawing on Nov. 29. At least two winners from each VFW Conference will be selected. Previous VFW-sponsored trip winners to various events are not eligible.
The trip will take place from April 16-29, 2020.
