After reading Echo in Ramadi, I couldn’t wait to meet Author / USMC Maj. (Ret) Scott Huesing. His vivid portrayal of combat in Iraq, at the height of the war, was so real- I felt like I was there.
And the interview was equally as good.
I talked with him for over an hour ... he shared some details about the most gripping scenes in the book, and I learned that the harrowing stories of Echo Company in Iraq are more than tales of defying death .. they're lessons for a better life.
