Recent flooding in Eastern Nebraska and some regions in Iowa have taken a toll on everything from homes to farm animals but when natural disasters strike, the National Guard is ready.
Members of the Company B, 2-135th General Support Aviation Battalion of the Nebraska Army National Guard went into action Wednesday, in support of "Operation Prarie Drop."

In a Facebook post, the Illinois Farm Bureau offered their thanks to the servicemen and women who were a big help to local farmers and ranchers in flood-affected areas.
