PHOTOS: Museum of Flight dedicates its Vietnam Veterans Memorial Park

Over Memorial Day weekend, the Museum of Flight in Seattle, Washington dedicated the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Park. The ceremony included a Cascade War Birds flyover, an Honor Guard presentation, a special pinning ceremony for Vietnam veterans in attendance, and a dedication of the park.
The new park's centerpiece is a B-52G Stratofortress static display and a tribute wall with personalized plaques from people honoring the veterans in their lives. The B-52 flew during the Vietnam War in Operations Bullet Shot and Linebacker II.
"Veterans initiated and led this project from the start. What began simply as the restoration of an aircraft quickly transformed into something much more." Matt Hayes, president and CEO of the Museum of Flight said during the opening ceremony.
