PHOTOS: "A teammate, a role model and above all else, as a friend"

Last week, the U.S. Military Academy held a memorial service to honor Cadet Christopher "CJ" Morgan at Camp Buckner in New York. Cadets, staff, faculty, and family were all invited to honor Morgan and provide a tribute to his life as an athlete, student, leader, and friend.
"CJ was many things: a distinguished athlete, a disciplined student, and a dependable leader. I, like so many others here at the academy, knew him as a teammate, a role model and above all else, as a friend," said Cadet Andrew Winski, Company B4 Cadet Commander, during the ceremony.

The Class of 2020 cadet died due to injuries sustained from a military vehicle accident on West Point's training campus. The Law and Legal Studies major was a recruited athlete and standout member of the Army West Point Wrestling team.
"Cadet Morgan was a valued member of the Corps of Cadets and will be missed by all. The entire community is ensuring that our cadets are being cared for physically, emotionally and spiritually," Lt. Gen. Darryl A. Williams, U. S. Military Academy superintendent, said last week. "Our thoughts and prayers are with the Morgan family."
