WATCH: 4 Black Fort Belvoir soldiers harassed, by a 'Karen' at an IHOP

An Army investigation is being opened after a white woman at a Viriginia IHOP unleashed a racist tirade at four Black soldiers.

Video of the incident was captured of the woman calling the soldiers “shitbags," and harassing them.

The video was taken by one the soldiers stationed at Fort Belvoir. It shows that initially the woman offered to pay for their meals -- leaving $30 on the table on her way out of the restaurant. But for some reason, minutes later she returns, takes back $24 of the cash and then claims the men stole her money.

“She became antagonistic, claiming the soldiers had taken her money and directed racially charged language at the soldiers,” Joe Richard, public affairs director for Fort Belvoir, told The Hill.

At one point, the woman sat down in the booth with the soldiers, blocking them from getting up. They politely asked her to leave, but she refused, forcing one soldier to climb out to extricate himself.

A non-uniformed man, identified by The Hill as a retired airman, came to the defense of the soldiers and asked the woman to leave. She turns on him and begins threatening him.

"I will f------ drop you. You wanna go? You wanna go?” she is heard screaming at the nonuniformed man.

"Oh? Drop me? Really?" the man says in response.

Eventually, the woman leaves but can be heard yelling “Are you the thin blue line, are you BLM, are you antifa?” while walking out.

"We are committed to fostering an environment of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in our force. A view of the video will show the Soldiers maintained their composure and military bearing throughout this shocking incident," Richard says. "The Garrison has the incident under internal review," he added.
