An Operation Iraqi Freedom Army veteran is co-hosting a new podcast about politics and popular culture on RADIO.COM.
Darienne Page co-hosts "Pod is a Woman" with Alejandra Campoverdi and Johanna Maska.
“We talk about politics, entertainment and pop culture, what’s going on today, the role of women in the world," she explained.
All three women served in the Obama White House, Page as director of veterans outreach; Campoverdi as deputy director of Hispanic media; and Maska as director of press advance.

“I grew up in a military family, we moved around a lot, Page added. “I know firsthand what military families face.”
And even though the women are all Democrats, she said they each have different views on the issues of the day.
“We are all different, we all have different perspectives,” Page said.
Dr. Jill Biden was the podcast’s first guest when it launched several weeks ago. A strong proponent for military families and a military mom herself, Jill Biden will bring that with her to the White House when her husband assumes the presidency next month, said Page.
