The National July 4th Veterans Art Competition is now accepting submissions.
Operation Gratitude and Challenge America are inviting veteran artists to honor the service and sacrifice of active-duty service members, veterans, and first responders by participating in the National July 4th Veterans Art Competition.

Throughout the month of April, veterans are encouraged to submit original painted or drawn art under the theme, “Show Your Patriotism.” A panel of judges will select the top 10 visual submissions as finalists, with the top three winners selected by popular vote.
According to a VA blog post, the competition offers veteran artists a unique opportunity to showcase their talent and recognize all those who have sworn an oath to serve the nation.
The Challenge America Veteran Arts Community is a national arts and crafts community designed for veterans and service members to come together around a shared interest in the creative arts and explore new opportunities to connect, learn and grow through the arts.
Winning work will be printed postcards and placed inside Operation Gratitude care packages. These postcards will also feature heartfelt messages to service members, veterans and first responders.
To learn more and to submit your artwork, visit CAVARTS.org and click “request to join.”
Submission deadline is April 29.
