Patriots at Pebble helps fund scholarships for Marine Corps, Navy kids

The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation’s annual “Patriots at Pebble” fundraiser, held at multiple venues including Pebble Beach Golf Links and Spyglass Hill Golf Course, helped it surpass $20 million in total contributions over the event’s 15-year history.

“Celebrating the 15th anniversary of Patriots at Pebble is a meaningful milestone for the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation,” said retired Marine Lt. Col Ted Probert, president and CEO of the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation. “Thanks to the generosity of this community, Patriots at Pebble has now raised more than $20 million over its history to provide scholarships supporting the postsecondary education of children of Marines and Navy Corpsmen.”

To date, MCSF has awarded more than 55,000 scholarships valued at over $200 million, supporting the postsecondary education of children of Marines and Navy Corpsmen.

Patriots at Pebble began in 2011 has become an annual event recognizing the Marine Corps, Navy Corpsmen and their families. The 15th-anniversary event was held March 1-2.  Over 130 players from across the United States, including actor and comedian retired Marine Lt. Col. Rob Riggle, Medal of Honor recipient retired Marine Capt Barney Barnum, Marine veterans, their families, and supporters came together for the event.

MCSF’s mission is to honor Marines and Navy Corpsmen by providing scholarships for their children attending post-high school, undergraduate, and career and technical education programs.

In 2025, MCSF awarded 2,886 scholarships totaling more than $12 million to students nationwide pursuing college degrees and career or technical education.
