ConnectingVets.com now has a special place where you can post tributes and remembrances of loved ones and friends who lost their lives while in service to the nation.

Click below to upload photos and tell the story of the person you are honoring throughout May and the lead-up to Memorial Day.

Tell us what made the person you are honoring unique, about who they were when they weren’t wearing the uniform. Tell us why they joined the service, what branch they served in, how long and where they served.

We know and respect that it can be emotional detailing how someone you loved died, so include as much of that as you can. For example, a simple he/she was killed in action on [date] in [location] also works if that is all you’d like to include.

Photos should be any size and can be black and white or color.

Submissions will be accepted through May 30.
