On this week's Eyes on Veterans podcast, we discuss Operation Epic Fury with Army veteran and former SFOD-Delta, Lt. Colonel Brad Taylor. A veteran with years of covert operations experience, a best-selling author, and a detailed researcher, Taylor looks at all sides of America's war with Iran, which has broadened to a level not seen since World War II.

We begin with what initiated the U.S.-Israeli attack on Iran, how it may end, and the dangers the world now faces.

Our discussion also looked back at Iran’s support of murderous terrorist groups, like Hamas, Hezbollah, plus Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and its Quds Force, and how the state has been conducting asymmetric warfare around the world for decades.

We also take a deeper look at previous wars and how killing our enemies is only half the battle. Taylor describes deadly lessons learned from Afghanistan, Iraq, and Libya, and the true cost of leaving behind a failed state. He also offers lessons on successful U.S. “dislocation strategies," but pairs it with a brutally honest look at the current situation in Iran.

And he describes a few endgame scenarios, which leaves the Middle East and the U.S. with more questions than answers.
