Honestly, my heart can't take much more of these surprises. We've already dealt with recasting after production was delayed for several months, and now Chris Harrison will be absent for part of the season while he re-quarantines for two weeks after dropping off his son at college in Texas. To keep production going, former Bachelorette JoJo Fletcher will temporarily step in as the host.
I don't blame Chris Harrison for wanting to be there for his son, and I absolutely think he made the right call on that. But at the same time, selfishly, I hate that this season is incredibly inconsistent and just feels messy. There are too many moving parts here, and based on what I've been seeing shared by Reality Steve over the last couple weeks, this is seriously going to be one dumpster fire of a season. I'm not going to spoil anything else for you, because frankly I don't read spoilers (I just 'see' them because my friends share things with me). However, anything that PEOPLE reports is a go because they're a reputable source...and this is what PEOPLE is saying to be true (about JoJo Fletcher coming on board). So, I wouldn't consider this to be a spoiler.
How do you feel about all of these crazy changes? I feel like that, even though 2020 has been a crazy year with all sorts of twists and turns every day, the production of this show doesn't have to be messy. Just my opinion.
