Was it a hot weekend, or what? I just did not feel like getting out and getting much done this weekend, so I really took it easy.
I started off my Saturday by deciding to do arts and crafts with my chihuahua, Jaq Jaq. This was the first time in 3-4 months that I'd been to a craft store, and it was so nice to get lost in Hobby Lobby again! I was tempted to buy more stuff than I needed, but they weren't running a sale on any of the home decor items I wanted to get. I'll keep checking back for home decor sales...next weekend, and/or the weekend after that maybe...LOL.
I picked out a 5-pack of little flower pots to paint, along with acryic paint, paint markers, and googly eyes. Jaq Jaq enjoyed the sunshine with his little pot that he painted with my help! I also created little glow-in-the-dark monster pots, which I painted green and coated with a glow-in-the-dark paint. The googly eyes glow, too!
I'm still in that mode where receiving packages at home makes me happy and feel less isolated during quarantine. I know places are reopening, but there are certain things (like the healthy mug cakes that enjoy eating) that I need to order. I got my latest shipment this weekend with this warning on the box...(It had been sitting in the heat for several hours at that point. Oops.)
