We all have pet peeves, but none of us actually admit to doing any of them. I'm here to tell you that I definitely do or have done these common pet peeves of other people, and want to say sorry in advance.
1. Scuffing my feet as I walk.
I have very loud shoes. Sorry.
2. Standing right in front of the door to a business that's about to open up, or a train at the airport.
I have places to go and things to, and I want the best seat or the best selection. Stay back, Karen. Stay back.
3. Saying "woo!" a lot.
Hey, I'm just really excited!
4. Standing too close to someone on an escalator.
Lol okay I have only done this once. YES it was awkward for both of us, but I was just very eager to get upstairs to the IKEA showroom, okay?
5. Listening to music through speakers instead of headphones.
Oops.
6. Repeatedly hit the elevator button or crosswalk button.
I swear it helps.
7. Saying "no problem" or "no worries" in response to "thank you."
I don't see a problem here. Is that what I should say instead? Lol
8. Clapping at the end of a movie in a theater.
I'm just following the crowd...Don't hate me for it!
9. Saying "you should have been there" to people who clearly weren't there.
Did I trigger your FOMO? Good.
10. Buy coffee that costs more than $2.
I like to treat myself to a $5 coffee every once in a while, okay?
